Our company proudly achieved 7th place in the esteemed 2024 rankings of top exporters of hazelnuts and hazelnut products, as recognized by the Istanbul Exporter Association. This significant milestone underscores our vital role in the global hazelnut industry and reflects our dedication to excellence, innovation, and strategic growth.
Export Figures Growing Over 15%
With our export figure of $30,557,514 in 2024, we increased our export volume by more than 15% compared to last year. This increase is not just about numbers, but also a reflection of the strong relationships we have built with our team, producers, business partners and customers.
Towards 2025 with Our Organic and Sustainability-Oriented Approach
Our sustainable and organic farming principles lie at the heart of our export volume, which has increased every year since our establishment.
- Organic Farming: Together with our more than 600 contracted farmers, we produce organic hazelnuts on approximately 11,000 acres of land, using natural solutions away from chemicals, and produce high-quality and healthy hazelnuts and hazelnut products. In addition to the health of consumers, we ensure the protection of our producers and the environment they are associated with.
- Sustainable Agriculture: With nearly 1000 contracted farmers, we aimed to continue hazelnut farming for future generations and improve the quality of life of workers and employers working in agriculture.
- Women and Child-Oriented Projects: We prioritize issues such as the regulation of the social lives of our female employees, farmers and women working in agriculture and their health checks. We are also working to ensure that future generations fight against child labor with the ÇİMEN Project we have implemented.
We Focus on Our 2025 Goals
As of 2025, we are leaving all our achievements behind and focusing on our new goals. We aim to bring the magnificent Turkish hazelnut to the tables of more people in more countries, increase organic farming practices and make sustainability an integral part of hazelnut farming.
In addition, we are shaping the future with the following projects:
- Culture and Art: As Karimex, we support the art and cultural life of our city.
- ÇİMEN Project: We aim to create generations that fight child labor.
- Karimex Children's Theater: We bring our little friends together with art and encourage them to learn while having fun.
- GES Project: We are one step closer to our sustainability goals in energy.
