We are committed to working towards sustainability and ensuring the preservation of hazelnut's abundance for future generations.

At Karimex Hazelnut Industry, we place great importance on sustainability. In this regard, we are taking infrastructure preparations for achieving carbon neutrality, reducing production costs through renewable energy sources, and implementing an eco-friendly production model. We support organic production and the principles of sustainability at all stages of hazelnut cultivation, benefiting both the environment and the producers. Additionally, we prioritize social responsibility projects.

We would like to express our gratitude once again to Mr. Fatih Şenocak, the Director of the Ordu Provincial Directorate, for involving us in YEDAŞ's Sustainable Energy Sources project, designed for primary and middle school students. While YEDAŞ educates young students about renewable energy sources, we creatively present hazelnuts as a renewable energy source and raise awareness about sustainability. We also offer our products as treats during the project.

The primary goal of this social responsibility project is to enhance the awareness of future sustainability ambassadors and cultivate responsible young generations who care about the environment.

Through the participation of our Sustainability Department as educators, we reached approximately 1.000 children in five schools in the Altınordu and Fatsa districts of Ordu province within the scope of this social responsibility project.
